What you need:
-
1 1/4 cup flour
-
1 tsp baking powder
-
1 tsp baking soda
-
pinch of salt
-
1 egg, beaten
-
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
-
1 tbsp butter, melted
-
1/4 cup sugar
How it's made:
-
Stir together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

Mix the egg with the buttermilk and add to the flour micture, stiring until smooth

Add the melted butter and sugar, mix
-
Fry on a greased pan
***No buttermilk on hand? THATS OK mix 1 cup milk to 1 tbsp vinegar (I used 3% milk)
