I have always been a morning person BUT not always a morning workout kinda girl, these are the 7 steps that I do on a regular basis to help me be able to give it 110% during my workout!! Like Tony Horton Says "You gotta BRING IT! ---Check out below my 7 tips on how to start a morning exercise routine and hopefully they can help you create a routine that you can stick to!!

1. Pick a realistic time: If you pick a time that you can never stick with then you will find it very difficult to create a routine and habits around that..... Pick a time that works for YOU!

2. Get a good night's sleep: Getting a good night sleep is not only important for your overall health but after a good night sleep you will be ready to rock the day and have the energy you need to power through your workout!

3. Put out clothes, sneakers, and headphones the night before: Seriously this was a game changer for me, in the morning if I didn't have to search for my workout clothes, and all I have to do was glab them and put them on because their right in front of me, I was less likely to stay in my PJ's all morning and skip my workout!

4. Plan out your exercise routine ahead of time: Wake up every morning with an exercise plan. 👉What exercises are you going to do? 👉How long? 👉Are you going to switch up exercises on certain days?

Having an exercise plan helps you get started and stay focused on your workout. Without a plan you are more likely to waste time trying to figure out what you want to do, then your workout maybe cut short or rushed.

5. Give yourself a few minutes to wake up: Seriously though, let yourself wake up before you try to rock your workout, being half asleep during a workout you will not be giving it your 110% So give yourself 10-15 minutes to wake up, have a glass of water, stretch listen to some music to get you pumped..... then BRING IT!

6. Put together a motivating playlist: MUSIC!! Seriously music can be your biggest motivator to keep pushing through a workout, if you are listening to "Eye of the tiger" would you not be more inclined to push harder or run a little faster? I know I would!! --Make a playlist that gets and keeps you pumped the entire workout is A MUST!! --- When I am doing my workouts I like to PUMP the music!

7. Exercise often: Whenever you are forming a new exercise habit the key is to do it often at least 5 days a week if not 6 and for a long period of time (3-4 weeks). ---If you exercise sporadically it will always feel like you are starting from the beginning. Challenge yourself to stick with it.

I hope that these 7 tips have helped you figure out that you CAN create a morning workout routine and be able to stick to! All it takes is a few little changes here and there to find your perfect medium between life and fitness! Did this help you? If so, I would really appreciate it if you would comment below and share it on Facebook!
